To safeguard the quality and safety of agricultural products, human and livestock health, as well as ecological and environmental security, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and other relevant departments have successively phased out a series of highly toxic and high-risk pesticides and issued corresponding control measures for their prohibition or restriction. To facilitate law enforcement and supervision by relevant authorities, the list of bannedpesticides at the national level is hereby announced as follows:

DDT, Toxaphene, Dibromochloropropane(Dbcp), Chlordimeform, Dibromethane, Nirofen, Aldrin, Mercury, Arsenic, Lead, Dibutuo, Fluoroacetamide, Gliftor, Tetramine, Sodium Fluoroacetate, Silatrane, Demeton, Posfolan-Methyl, Chlorzoxazone, Methamidophos, Parathion, Methylparathion, Monocrotophos, Phosphamidon, Chlordane, Mirex, Hexachlorobenzene, Fenamiphos, Fonofos, Phosfolan-Methyl, Calcium Phosphide, Magnesium Phosphide, Zinc Phosphide, Cadusafos, Coumaphos, Sulfotep, Terbufos, Chlorsulfuron, Ethametsulfuron, Metsulfuron-Methyl, Asomate, Urbacide, Methidathion, 2,4-D Butyl Ester, Paraquat, Dicofol, Endosulfuron, Lindane, Ethyl Perfluorooctylsulfonamide, Sodium Pentachlorophosphide, Phorate, Isofenphos-Methyl, Isocarbophos,Ethoprophos, Omethoate, Carbofuran, Methomyl, Aldicarb
Agricultural and rural authorities at all levels shall strengthen supervision over banned pesticides. In accordance with relevant laws and regulations such as the Food Safety Law of the People's Republic of China, the Agricultural Product Quality and Safety Law of the People's Republic of China, and the Regulations on Pesticides, any illegal production, distribution, or use of nationally banned pesticides shall be strictly punished in accordance with the law.
